How it works

Your phone does the work. We see almost nothing.

Reachy is a set of small helpers around a parked car. Here is each one, on the real screen, and a live map of the few things that ever leave your phone.

01 · the map of your data

Watch what leaves. And what never does.

Most apps draw this picture with words. We drew it with the actual lanes: a place leaves your phone only along a green lane, with no account on it, and dies on the timer shown.

Green dot = a place. If a lane isn't drawn here, the app doesn't send it.

02 · screen by screen

Six helpers. One parked car.

01 · parking

Your phone notices you parked.

You stop driving and walk away. GPS and the motion sensor agree — and the Reachy adapter in your car gives the final word: it sees the engine stop and start, so the spot is exact. Saved on your phone, not sent anywhere. Not sure? The app asks "Did you park here?" and you tap yes or no.

  • Runs on the phone, stays on the phone
  • The adapter confirms engine off and on — that's why it matters
  • Location "Always" lets it notice; "While Using" means one tap
02 · the rules

The curb's rules, read for you. A reminder before the ticket.

The city publishes every parking sign as raw records. Our intelligence merges that public data into one map that makes sense on the street: coloured lines along each side of each block, corrected every day from your reports. Your phone downloads the public map for the area around it — the same file everyone gets — and sets the reminders itself: before the sweeper, before a sign's time limit, before a late fee.

  • Official city records, merged and checked by our intelligence — improving constantly from your reports
  • Lock-screen safe: no address in the notification
03 · the badge

Blocked in? They reach you, not 311.

Your window badge carries a random code — never your name, number or plate. Whoever scans it picks one ready-made request. You get a push, then a text, and answer with a button. Nobody types a message; nobody learns who anybody is.

  • The scanner needs no account
  • Replace the badge any time: the old code stops working
04 · live parking

The spot you leave is the spot a neighbour needs.

When you pull out of a legal spot, your phone sends the bare curb point — no account, no name, no device. It shows as a green dot for as long as a spot usually lasts there: we learn how fast each block fills up, so a spot stays on the map for the time it is likely still free — minutes on a busy street, up to an hour on a quiet one. You choose to share it, and it fixes parking for everyone on the block.

  • Only legal curbs, only from the genuine app
  • Deleted once it's likely taken — timed per block, never kept
05 · your car

The warning light, explained.

A small adapter in the car reads the warning light and the engine state. Reachy explains each code plainly and tells you whether it can wait. If you confirm, we keep the code — so that, once our mechanic marketplace is ready, we can point you to the shop that has fixed exactly this before. We are still improving that system before we rely on it.

  • Read-only toward the car · answers to Reachy only
  • Error codes kept only if you confirm — to find the right mechanic later
06 · service

Every service. Every receipt. Help when you're stuck.

Your service history with real prices, what's due next, and the shops drivers actually use. Stuck on the road? One request, licensed help nearest first, one invoice.

  • Your history, your receipts, on your account
  • Your position goes only with a roadside request

Reachy is a helper that brings official public records together. Maps and reminders can be wrong — always check the posted signs.

Don't take our word for it

Every line on this page is a checked fact.

The claims here are tested against the app's code before any release. Next we open that code, so anyone — a journalist, a city, you — can verify that Reachy keeps no locations and no identities.
